Resumen
1. 1. A cell-free system isolated from the liver of the fish Cyprinus carpio has been isolated and characterized. 2. 2. Amino acid incorporation was studied under different conditions. Optimal activity was obtained either at 18 or 30°C, using sodium cacodylate buffer pH 7.0 in the presence of 4-6 mM Mg2+ and 100 mM K+ (or 90 mM Na+).
