Resumen

Isolated needles of Pinus radiata incorporate radioactive orthophosphate into ATP, pyrophosphomevalonic acid, and isopentenyl pyrophosphate. Radioactivity from 2-C14-labeled mevalonic acid was found in the last two compounds and in phosphomevalonic acid when an extract from Pinus seedlings was used.
