Resumen
This research study characterizes organizational management when coordinating postgraduate university degrees in Zulia state (Venezuela). The applied methodology is quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, transactional, and has a field design. The sample consists of 104 coordinators as observation units, surveyed with a questionnaire approved by 10 experts (reliability rtt =0.857; Alpha Cronbach method). The results show the concurrence of the organizational management indicators examined, revealing improvement actions that can be applied in the contexts of a sociopolitical crisis or a health emergency. The variable examined, organizational management, is described as organized and planned, with weaknesses in the "resources" dimension. This can affect the scope of goals, but it has a weak impact on conducting actions that aim to optimize administrative management. In conclusion, organizational management is affected by social, environmental, and economic factors, which notoriously influence the decisions and management styles of leaders.
