In this paper, the structure of Single phase electronic rectifier is presented. In this type of rectifier, a bridge converter is used to rectify the input voltage. Then, by using a voltage buck converter, the voltage level of the rectifier is reduced to the desired value. In the voltage buck converter, a resonant tank is used to generate sinusoidal current and reduce the losses of high frequency transformers. In order to control the output voltage and modify the grid power factor, two different methods are applied. The first one is based on the separation dq-axis, and the second one is based on model predictive control. In order to achieving the stated objectives, the performance of electronic rectifier is investigated in the Matlab to produce a 19.5V output voltage. Finally, the results of the two control methods are compared, and based on this comparison, with the predictive control method, better results are obtained in voltage control and power factor correction.
