Resumen
The purpose of this work is to offer a brief overview of the main structural and functional characteristics of the Chilean Council for Transparency and then contrast them with the regulations of the 19/2013 Transparency and Good Governance Council in Spain. What is sought is to highlight the main strengths and weaknesses of the Chilean regulation in relation to the regulations contained in Law 19/2013 and thereby establish some minimum bases that allow both laws to be addressed in a comparative manner, trying to highlight the aspects best achieved in each of them.
