The research sought to understand the leadership consiliente as empowering the neuronal talent at private universities competition. Post-positivist framework epistemic, qualitative methodology, hermeneutic approach, design emerging, flexible and non-linear. Applied techniques: observation, interviews and life stories, the instruments used: script for interviews and observation forms. It is concluded that leader recognizes skills, knowledge or expertise, the members of the team and himself, administering them properly, providing them with basic capabilities to direct from the generosity, affection, effectiveness and consistency; facilitating empowerment in his team, promoting human talent with high-performance for the benefit of the organization.
