Abstract
The design and characteristics of 'Lambdometer' detector for investigation of cumulative lambda-hyperons in the range of fragmentation of resting target nucleus in hadron-nuclear interactions under various initial conditions were described (primary particle energy and kind, target nucleus atomic number, lambda-particle escape angle). The detector permitted to measure lambda-particle spectra in the kinetic energy range from 40 to 150 MeV with the resolution of approximately 5 MeV and relative sistematic error of <25%. It made it possible to determine lambda-particle cross-section (yield) with the same accuracy and polarization with the accuracy of ≥96%.
