Implementation of a two-loop digital control for high voltage DC-DC buck-boost converter with coupled inductor

Abstract

This paper presents a digital control for a DC-DC buck-boost converter with coupled inductors, using averaged current mode control as inner loop controller, in order to regulate the output DC voltage for high voltage application. The controller has been implemented using a digital signal controller (DSC); reference voltage variations experiments were performed for the different operating modes of the converter. The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulated results.
