The didactic preparation of the baseball coach is currently shown as an important aspect to be addressed, due to the relevance it acquires to determine the quality of an efficient training process within the current sports context. That is why it is established as a justifying aspect in the research, to determine the main insufficiencies that limit the didactic action of this professional, and in turn allows to establish as the objective in the research to design a strategy for professional improvement aimed at the didactic preparation of the baseball coach. The research involved a sample of 54 coaches working in the under 12 years old category belonging to the 17 sports teams located in the municipality of Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. Among the methods used are: observation, pre-experiment and survey. The statistical methods used were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics where the non-parametric Wilcoxon test was applied.
