Abstract

This chapter concludes this book on dementia prevention and risk reduction. We pull together the strands of a wide range of lifestyle and disease-based risk factors with approaches to behaviour change, change in health practitioner guidelines and policy change to enable the evidence we have to impact on the way we live our lives. These approaches align to compress the clinical features of dementia into the final years of life, thus lowering its incidence.
