Abstract

1. 1. Evidence has accumulated indicating that morphine (or exogenous opiate) mediate their effect via interaction at specific opiate receptor on the smooth muscle of the isolated rat vas deferens. 2. 2. Pharmacological evidence supports the suggestion that morphine effects upon the male reproductive tract may not involve a catecholaminergic cholinergic or serotonergic component.
