Abstract

The absorption spectra of quartz fiber lightguides of various types, irradiated with γ-quanta to a total dose of 10-1000 Mrad, were studied in the wavelength range from 200 to 7000 nm. It is established that a certain spectral region exists in which optical losses exhibit a minimum growth with increasing absorbed dose. © 1997 MAEe cyrillic signK Hayκa/Interperiodica Publishing.
