Research interests

Nicolás Román is Assistant professor, Phd in Latin american Studies (University of Chile, 2017). I am a researcher in Latin american Literature, specifically Chilean and Argentinian narrative, Latin american thought, Cultural Studies and Gender Theory. I had been Visiting Scholar in Buenos Aires University in Argentina, New York University in the United States and also in Konstanz University, Germany. I had been awarded with Fulbright and DAAD grants. Currently, I am professor of Andres Bello University (Santiago, Chile) and also I am Lead Editor of the Journal "Revista de Humanidades" (Scopus index journal).
