RESEARCH LINE(S)
1. Pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases
2. Tolerance and Autoimmunity
3. Translational Immunology
My research focusses on the pathogenesis of human inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, in particular rheumatoid arthritis, and the development of novel therapeutic approaches to restore self-tolerance, using humanized mouse models of disease. I am also interested in studying the role of microbiota in the development of autoimmune responses.
